Leving Team Reunited Dad with His Baby Girl After Shocking Abduction

By Laura Reichel

A frantic dad was desperate for help after the mother of his infant daughter reportedly embarked on a campaign to cut him out of his daughter’s life forever. The Leving legal team took her to court and won. Failure was not their option.

Chicago based matrimonial attorney Jeffery Leving, President of the Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving Ltd., will talk about this important court victory on the Dads’ Rights Legal Hour, 9-10 a.m. CST Saturday, February 28th on Power 92.3 FM.

This show segment will be available for download on the Dads’ Rights Legal Hour’s Spotify page on dadsrights.com. Listen to this radio show to follow the fight to protect children everywhere, share this victory and connect on Instagram @dadsrights. All children matter.

The mother had allegedly obtained an Order of Protection against dad, fled the State of Illinois with his baby, changed the baby’s name on official documents by forging dad’s signature, and purchased a home with cash in another state and hid the baby there.

This desperate dad did not know what to do – he turned to attorney Jeffry Leving for the legal help he needed to end this nightmare and bring his baby girl back to him. Leving gave this dad the hope and strength he needed to fight to bring his baby back home.

The Leving legal team immediately began working to locate the baby and make sure she was safe. Through Detective Halick’s painstaking and determined investigative work, they located the baby in a distant state, despite the mother’s reported multiple efforts to avoid being found. At the same time, the Leving legal team filed for emergency relief in court to order the mother to immediately return the baby to dad. They argued that dad’s little girl was in grave danger. The judge entered an Emergency Order requiring the immediate return of the little girl to dad, prohibited the mother from removing the child from dad’s care or from the U.S., and denied the mother any visitation at all!

After a lengthy trial which lasted several days, dad was awarded everything he asked for!  The judge denied the mother’s request to give her joint custody and instead gave this wonderful dad sole custody of his little girl.

This court victory modified for publication reunited a father and daughter while also protecting the little girl. Without the Leving legal team’s commitment and persistence, this dad would likely have lost his baby girl forever. Now, she can grow up in a loving and safe home with her dad by her side to care for and protect her.

February is coming to an end and on this final Saturday of Black History Month, Attorney Jeffery Leving will talk about his old neighbor and friend, one of the world’s greatest boxers, Muhammad Ali. Tune in to the Dads’ Rights Legal Hour this Saturday and don’t forget to visit OurBlackHeritage.com, a website containing historical photos, important articles and more about African American history.
