Leving Team Protected Dad’s Little Girls Again, Ensuring Their Lasting Safety

By Laura Reichel

When two young girls were rescued from a reported toxic and dangerous home, their devoted father believed the worst was finally behind them.

The court victory granting him primary custody had given his daughters the peace and stability they deserved, allowing them to grow up safely under his care.

But a year later, troubling signs began to emerge — and dad knew something was wrong.

Once again, he turned to the Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving, Ltd. for help.

Chicago-based matrimonial attorney Jeffery Leving, President of the Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving Ltd. will talk about this important case victory and more on the Dads’ Rights Legal Hour, 9-10 a.m. CST Saturday, November 29th on Power 92.3 FM. This show segment will be available for download on the Dads’ Rights Legal Hour’s Spotify page on dadsrights.com. Listen to this radio show and keep hope alive by sharing this victory and connecting on Instagram @dadsrights.

Despite having secured primary custody, dad’s daughters were still required to spend limited parenting time with their mother. However, dad reported noticing alarming changes in his daughters’ behavior each time they returned home from their visits. The children began acting differently, showing regressive and violent behaviors consistent with trauma and emotional distress.

Fearing the worst, dad immediately called attorney Jeffery Leving for help. The Leving legal team, who had skillfully handled dad’s original case, immediately fought for dad to secure the safety of his children.  They filed a motion to restrict the mother’s parenting time, presented compelling evidence and powerful testimonies arguing that the repeated visits placed the children’s emotional and developmental well-being at serious risk.  They won for dad and his children. The court agreed with the Leving legal team’s arguments. The mother’s parenting time was ended by the court, ensuring that dad’s little girls could continue their healthy development in their dad’s home without interference.

This important court victory modified for this publication secured another layer of safety for this loving father and his daughters. It also reaffirmed the mission of the Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving Ltd.: protecting children, restoring families, and fighting for justice for those who depend on them most.

Matrimonial attorney Jeffery M. Leving is the recipient of the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Joe R. Biden, Jr. in recognition of 7,500 hours of Leving’s service to this nation. Leving is also the recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award from President George W. Bush. He is a nationally recognized matrimonial and family law attorney.
