No one injured in Orland Park apartment building fire Thursday

Orland Fire Protection District, IL – No one was injured when an Orland Park home caught fire Thursday.

OFPD Officials are investigating the cause of the fire that burned the kitchen of an apartment building, but suspect it may be related to the oven in the kitchen.

The fire was reported at around 11 am on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025 in the multi-family dwelling at the 14400 block of Jefferson Avenue.

Firefighters who arrived at the scene minutes after the 911 call found smoke coming from the building and quickly deployed hoses to extinguish the fire that was located in the kitchen.
