Orland Fire Protection District Fire Commission administers promotions
The Orland Fire Protection District administered the Oaths of Office in the promotion of two firefighters on Thursday April 6, 2023 at the OFPD administrative building.
Fire Commission member Beth Damas Kaspar administered The Engineer Oath of Office to Firefighters Justin Dublin and Zach Zweizig.
Araceli Dublin, Justin Dublin’s fiancee, pinned his Engineer badge while Zweizig Tristin’s son Zach pinned his Engineer badge on his father.
Commissioner Kaspar then administered the Lieutenant Oath of Office to Engineer Marc DeSardi.
DeSardi’s mother, Kathryn, pinned his Lieutenant badge, while his significant other, Francesca, delivered his conferment speech.
Orland Fire Protection DIstrict Fire Chief Michael Schofield was present at the ceremonies to offer words of congratulations to the three promotions.
