Schadenfreude returns for new show Feb. 22 in Chicago
I’m super pumped to announce that Schadenfreude is coming back together on February 22nd for a new show! It’s at The Hideout, 7pm.
We are celebrating our 20th anniversary. It’s crazy to think that 20 years ago we were up at the Heartland Studio Theater, charging 3 bucks and giving away free beer. So many sketches about Mayor Daley. Ah, good times.
And it’s awesome that the show is at The Hideout, 1354 W Wabansia Ave, Chicago, IL 60642. We’ve done so many memorable shows there. And back in 1999, the Hideout dog came on stage when we were performing. Needless to say, the dog saved our show.
We chose February 22nd as the date for our anniversary show because it’s the weekend before the mayoral election. So before you go to the polls to vote for the next mayor, come see who we make fun of first. Consider this your voting guide.
It’s 10 bucks. And all proceeds go to buying new wigs.
Tickets are selling fast. What? The Hideout actually sells tickets in advance? You didn’t know that either? Well they do and the show is almost sold out. So get your tickets now and see Sandy, Adam, Stephen, Kate and Justin back on stage together, with a few pleasant surprises.
