OFPD “Coffee & Conversation: Helping seniors improve memory and clarity
The Orland Fire Protection District, Orland Senior Advisory Council and Aishling Companion Home Care will offer a presentation called “Ageless Grace” to help attendees better understand ways to improve brain functions during aging.
The presentation, “An Ageless Grace,” will be presented at this month’s meeting of the OFPD “Coffee & Conversation” program. The “Coffee & Conversation” series addresses the needs of the district’s residents and is co-hosted with the OFPD Senior Advisory Council and led by experts from Aishling Companion Home Care.
This month’s program, to be held Thursday, June 28, will feature “Ageless Grace,” a cutting-edge brain fitness program based on neuroplasticity that activates all 5 functions of the brain – analytical, strategic, kinesthetic learning, memory/recall, creativity and imagination – and simultaneously addresses all 21 physical skills needed for lifelong optimal function.
The program is free and open to the public. Attendees should dress comfortably with walking/gym shoes.
Please join us on June 28 at our “Coffee & Conversation.” The program runs from 10 am until Noon at the OFPD Administration Building Board Room, 9790 West 151st Street, Orland Park.
