Candidates to be feted at Arab American Democratic Club brunch Oct. 21

The Arab American Democratic Club (AADC), the largest representative organization for Arab Americans in Illinois, announced plans to host its annual pre-election brunch for Democratic candidates on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Niko’s Banquet Hall at 7600 S. Harlem Ave., Bridgeview, Illinois.

AADC Executive Director Samir Khalil said that the organization has a three-decade-long history of providing a platform for Democratic candidates to address members of the Arab American community in the Chicagoland region and in Illinois and to present their ideas and platforms to the public in anticipation of upcoming elections.

The candidates invited have all been elected in the March 20, 2018 Democratic Primary to represent the Democratic Party and will now run in the General Election in Illinois on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.

“The annual Candidate’s Brunch is one of the most highly attended events of the year and offers Arab Americans and members of the public an opportunity to meet and learn about the policies each of the Democratic candidates offer in the election.”

Khalil said that all of the Democratic candidates are and will be invited to attend the brunch, which usually attracts more than 500 attendees.
