Cook County GOP Chairman Sean Morrison endorses Dr. Willie Wilson for Chicago Mayor
Cook County Republican Party Chairman Sean M. Morrison has announced his endorsement of Dr. Willie Wilson for Mayor of Chicago in the upcoming February 26, 2019 municipal election. Chairman Morrison strongly encourages all Chicago Republican voters to unite behind the candidacy of Dr. Wilson and to get out and vote for him this month.
“As a successful businessman and humanitarian, Dr. Willie Wilson espouses the core values, unparalleled business record and life experience needed to lead the city of Chicago. That is why I am endorsing his candidacy for Mayor,” stated Cook County GOP Chairman Sean Morrison.
Dr. Wilson is the definition of a self-made success story with a tremendously successful business career that has touched the lives of thousands of people over the last several decades. From growing up in very modest means in Louisiana to arriving in Chicago in 1965 and from there he would go from $2 an hour custodial work for McDonald’s to owning several McDonald’s franchises in the Chicago area. All this achieved through his hard work, commitment and belief.
Most people would’ve stopped with the business success Willie Wilson achieved with McDonald’s, but he moved onto even more successful private sector endeavors with the creation of his own television production company Willie Wilson Productions which created Singsation!, a half-hour weekly program of Gospel music seen in over 60 million households.

In 1997, Willie Wilson continued to expand his business portfolio even further by founding Omar Medical Supplies, a distributor of disposable products for use in the food service, industrial and medical services. The company has grown to have an international footprint around the world.
“Chicago voters have a unique opportunity to make a strong break from the recycling of yet another democratic machine candidate as mayor of Chicago. Dr. Wilson is the only candidate who has spent his entire career outside of government and has created jobs for thousands of people,” added Chairman Morrison. “No other candidate in this race can match his entrepreneurial record or his philanthropic record for that matter. Willie Wilson’s selfless acts of kindness which he has exhibited throughout the city of Chicago are shining examples of his strong faith-based values as well as his sincere love and concern for all of his fellow residents.”
Cook County GOP Chairman Sean Morrison’s endorsement of Dr. Willie Wilson is a personal endorsement by Chairman Morrison and not an endorsement from the Cook County GOP Central Committee.
